Job summary

VIP Medical Group in Stamford, CT is seeking a Regional Clinical Lead - Sonographer to oversee sonographers and medical assistants across CT sites, guiding clinical quality, training, and operations to ensure high standards of venous ultrasound care and patient safety.

Travel 3–4 days per week within the region is required, with some home-office time for administrative tasks and reporting. Competitive compensation and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• RVT certification or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years as a Sonographer with 2+ years in supervision preferred.
• Experience supervising Medical Assistants in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of venous insufficiency, CEAP protocol, and ultrasound-based procedures.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel 3–4 days per week within the assigned region.
• Travel to clinics within the assigned region is required 3–4 days per week.
• Home office or administrative time as needed 1–2 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership, coaching, and performance management for all Sonographers and MAs in the region.
• Onboard and train staff on VIP workflows, equipment, and clinic flow.
• Collaborate with Regional Operations Director to support clinic readiness and patient flow.
• Monitor regulatory, safety, and infection control standards and track KPIs.
• Foster accountability, clinical excellence, and patient-centered care across the region.
