Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Regional Safety, Health and Environmental Manager 2 (RSM) to oversee occupational safety management across assigned profit centers. Responsibilities include audits, training, and alignment with safety policies, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

The role requires coordinating with Safety Directors, Branch Managers and Safety Coordinators to ensure compliant, proactive safety practices and robust reporting across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field, or equivalent experience, with 5+ years in Safety, Health and Environmental Management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports and recommend procedures to improve organizational performance.

• Oversee the safety protocols quality at branches within the region.

• Conduct PC safety compliance inspections and audits per schedule and criteria.
• 2
• Provide training and guidance to Safety Coordinators to ensure consistency.
• 2
• Identify deficiencies with corrective actions and follow up with branch teams.
• 2
• Maintain Safety Training & Documentation Manual and related materials.
• 2
• Track regional performance to identify lagging locations and improve indicators.
• 2
• Develop annual SH&E strategic plan with regional targets.
• 2
• Lead Safety Coordinator calls and annual boot camp in the region.

• Train staff on Sunbelt Safety Tools and processes.

• Assist with incident investigations and reporting.

• Participate in safety meetings and stand-down events.
