Job summary

FedEx Group is seeking a district security leader to act as the primary regional security resource, protecting people, assets, and brand integrity. You will conduct risk assessments, manage urgent incidents, investigations into workplace violence, fraud, and losses, and coordinate with law enforcement.

You will monitor on-site security technologies, train business partners on best practices, travel as needed, and report on key metrics while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in directly related field such as corporate security, audit, military, law enforcement, transportation or loss prevention.
• Three (3) years related experience in corporate security, audit, military, law enforcement, transportation or supply chain loss prevention, and/or loss analytics.
• Strong interpersonal communication, writing skills, and problem-solving abilities; ability to prepare detailed reports using MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Leads district level security program efforts, ensuring safety of People, Assets, and Brand at the assigned location.
• Performs security risk assessments and responds to urgent security matters; leads investigations into incidents (workplace violence, losses, fraud).
• Liaises with law enforcement and regulatory agencies to support investigations and compliance.
• Monitors security plans and technologies, including surveillance and access control systems.
• Tracks key metrics and reports, addressing gaps or security concerns; trains partners on best practices.
