UN Secretariat's Development Operations Coordination Office (DCO) in New York seeks a seasoned analyst to support the Asia Pacific liaison role. You will provide substantive analysis, briefings, and communication support to senior leadership, monitoring sustainable development trends and cross-border dynamics across the region.

Your work includes preparing reports, mission packs, and readouts, collecting data, and visualizing complex information to inform planning and decision-making.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced degree in a relevant field; OR a first-level degree with significant qualifying experience.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in sustainable development, public policy, or development cooperation.
• Experience with inter-agency collaboration and partnerships.

Aufgaben

• Conduct substantive analysis and prepare briefings, key messages, and meeting readouts for senior leadership.
• Collect, analyze, and visualize data on regional sustainable development trends and cross-border dynamics.
• Monitor intergovernmental processes and horizon scan risks and opportunities in Asia Pacific.
• Support senior leadership engagements and facilitate communication between Headquarters and the Regional Office.
• Assist in strategic planning exercises and knowledge sharing within the regional office.
