Job summary

DATTCO, INC is hiring experienced and fully licensed School Bus Travel Drivers for CT locations. You will safely transport students to and from school on assigned routes and perform required inspections.

We expect a valid CT CDL Class B with P and S endorsements, at least three years of driving, and the ability to pass background checks and DOT screenings. 40 hours guaranteed with potential for extra hours through the manager; weekends off and school holidays are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have at least three consecutive years of driving experience with a valid driver’s license.
• Must possess a valid Connecticut CDL Class B with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements; out of state CDLs may qualify per CT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school on assigned routes.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report safety or maintenance concerns.
• Follow all traffic laws, designated routes, railroad crossing procedures, and school district safety requirements.
