Job summary

Kaplan North America is seeking part-time SAT/ACT teachers to conduct in-person prep sessions across Chicagoland locations. Teachers will use Kaplan curricula, mentor students, and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to tailor content. Training and professional development are provided.

Ideal candidates are current students or graduates with a passion for helping others succeed, capable of travel, and able to work with a remote manager in a flexible schedule.

• SAT/ACT percentile requirement (90th percentile)
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work independently with remote manager
• Willingness to travel to regional locations

Responsibilities

• Teach in-person SAT/ACT prep sessions across regional locations.
• Prepare students using curated curriculum to immerse in SAT/ACT language.
• Support students to develop critical thinking both in and out of class.
• Engage in professional training and ongoing development.
• Maintain flexible, part-time teaching schedule; travel as needed.
