Job summary

USI Insurance Services in San Diego seeks a Regional Sales Operations Leader to partner with regional leadership to drive efficiency and consistency across the sales process, with a front-end GET focus, to improve prospect quality and first appointment activity.

You will lead the Sales Support team, optimize prospect engagement, and roll out new tools, while collaborating with Practice Leaders to boost new business growth and producer success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in insurance brokerage or related field.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and influence teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Sales Support team (SMS, SES, RFP) with staffing aligned to metrics.
• Oversee prospect strategy and assignment (U Match) to ensure right volume and quality.
• Guide prospect engagement, including contact strategy, events, and Centers of Influence support.
• Monitor producer activity and first appointments; address gaps with Practice Leaders.
• Collaborate with producers to resolve quality prospect and warming strategy issues.
• Ensure consistent execution of Engagement Day and other sales activities.
• Review sales funnel metrics and tool usage; drive improvements with leadership.
• Partner with Practice Leaders on rollout and adoption of new sales tools.
• Continuously improve sales process efficiency aligned with USI best practices.
