Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Regional Sales Manager to drive our expansion in the Eastern U.S. market. You will be instrumental in building our brand, managing top-tier lighting representatives, and partnering with designers, architects, and end-users to introduce our innovative lighting solutions across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the VP of Sales to develop and execute a sales strategy tailored to the Eastern U.S., focusing on innovative go-to-market approaches.
  2. Market Expansion: Pioneer sales efforts into new markets, particularly in commercial, medical, and government sectors. Leverage your healthcare knowledge and relationships to accelerate growth.
  3. Network Management: Manage, support, and expand our network of exceptional lighting reps, ensuring they are equipped with the tools and knowledge to succeed.
  4. Client Engagement: Deliver compelling presentations, product demonstrations, and training to clients and industry professionals both in person and via video chat.
  5. Sales Execution: Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, meet or exceed sales targets, and drive revenue growth in alignment with company goals.
  6. Feedback Integration: Provide valuable market insights to our product development teams, influencing future innovations and ensuring our offerings meet customer needs.
  7. Relationship Building: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients and industry partners, fostering customer satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.
  8. Industry Participation: Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote Innerscene products and stay abreast of industry trends.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in regional sales management within the lighting, design, or building products sectors.
  2. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the commercial and healthcare design markets, with established relationships and a track record of success.
  3. Technical Acumen: An existing understanding or a keen interest in the science of light, with the ability to educate others on the importance of both visible and invisible light spectrums.
  4. Sales Proficiency: Proven ability to manage rep networks and close deals in a complex, tech-forward sales environment.
  5. Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
  6. Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel frequently within the Eastern U.S. to engage with clients and industry partners.
  7. Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with relevant experience.
