Summary:

The Regional Sales Manager leads the sales team and drives the effective implementation of strategic sales initiatives for the Western Region. In this critical role, you will work closely with the Channel Sales Manager to drive growth, enhance market share, and foster strong partner relationships within our Core distribution and direct store partners. Key to success will involve building, training, and guiding a high-performing team of salespeople for both the equipment (initial sale) and aftermarket (parts and consumables) segments.

Responsibilities:

  1. Implement aggressive sales growth plans for the Stationary business through Channel Partners in North America.
  2. Implement robust accountability platform to promote successful alignment of activities and performance.
  3. Ensure continuous learning and development of the team.
  4. Monitor and evaluate KPIs for all sales teams.
  5. Ensure comprehensive training and compliance with HGAP policies.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and customers.
  7. Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular activity reviews.
  8. Drive revenue growth through identification of new business opportunities.
  9. Stay informed about local industry trends and market conditions.
  10. Develop a deep understanding of compressors and the compressed air industry.
  11. Collaborate with Product Management on market-leading aftermarket offerings.
  12. Address customer issues promptly and professionally.
  13. Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular reports.
  14. Coordinate with sales leadership to drive CRM development.
  15. Utilize sales support and technical software for identifying opportunities.
  16. Navigate cross-functional and direct reporting teams effectively.
  17. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  18. Frequent travel required (50%).

Aftermarket Account Managers

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent is preferred.
  2. 5+ years of Business-to-Business Sales Leadership experience.
  3. Experience recruiting and effectively training salespeople.
  4. Must have experience driving a disciplined, metrics-driven sales process.
  5. Air compressor experience is preferred.
  6. Strong background in direct sales to industrial end users preferred.
  7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  8. Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills.
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  10. Use of CRM system – Salesforce strongly preferred.
  11. Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of the organization.

For residents of New York City, New York, California, and Washington state only, the expected salary range for this position if filled remotely is $135,000 - $150,000.
