Location: Remote (Up to 70% travel within the West Coast)
Salary Range: $115,000 – $140,000 annually + Quarterly Bonuses

Position Summary:
A leading aerospace distribution company is seeking a dynamic and experienced National Sales Director to lead its nationwide sales strategy. This role is responsible for driving sustainable growth, strengthening customer relationships, and developing high-performing sales teams across the U.S. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace distribution and a proven track record of sales leadership in complex B2B environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a national sales strategy aligned with corporate growth initiatives.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire regional sales teams to achieve revenue, margin, and profitability targets.
  • Oversee sales and value-added service activities across assigned regions to meet company goals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align and execute sales strategies across geographic territories.
  • Build and sustain strong customer partnerships across aerospace, defense, rail, and industrial sectors.
  • Expand existing accounts and identify new customer opportunities through strategic business development.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform strategy.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Procurement, Finance, Engineering) to deliver seamless customer solutions.
  • Implement data-driven forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking systems.
  • Manage long-term contracts to ensure compliance, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Represent the company at national industry events, conferences, and trade associations.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the sales organization.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (required)
  • 3–6 years of progressive sales leadership experience, including managing multi-regional or national teams
  • Prior experience in aerospace distribution (required)
  • Proven success in B2B sales strategy development and execution
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication and analytical abilities

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent)
  • Experience with bearings, precision components, or mission-critical supply chain solutions
  • Familiarity with growth-stage or family-owned businesses
