Job Description

We are actively seeking a high energy, motivated industry sales professional to develop TSLOTS manufacturing business within various geographies within the United States. Our team members are not just employees; they are longstanding contributors who have played a significant role in our company's success.

TSLOTS by Bonnell specializes in providing top-quality T-slotted aluminum extrusion solutions to the manufacturing industry. We operate on a Business-to-Business basis, ensuring our clients receive the best products and services tailored to their specific needs.

The selected candidate will have a strong track record and a proven history of identifying and securing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate may come from within the metal industry, i.e., Aluminum/Stainless Steel and other metals, including an aluminum extrusion business or distribution centers in the region. This candidate will work from a home office and can be based anywhere within the assigned region, with an expectation of travel throughout the region.

Selling will be direct to consumers and distributors servicing the manufacturing industries. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for business development and growing our relationship and position with existing customers located within the region. Assigned territories include the West U.S. (WA, OR, CA, ID, MT, WY, CO, NM, AZ, UT).

The Regional Sales Manager will play a key role in driving business growth outside of our existing client base. This position offers the opportunity to influence the direction of our expansion and make a significant impact on our success.

We are seeking candidates with experience in business environments characterized by challenging economic conditions and/or rapid change.

Responsibilities:

  • Research & identify market opportunities and trends via market intelligence.
  • Analyze market opportunities and operational capabilities.
  • Assess market size, regional characteristics, volume opportunity, required capabilities, competitive environment, market pricing, and internal production cost.
  • Develop sales strategies and formulate recommendations for market penetration including key targets and lead generation.
  • Develop and coordinate “Go-To-Market” plans and activities.
  • Track marketing initiative results, report findings, and refine market intelligence.
  • Represent Bonnell at industry events and to trade professionals.
  • Participate with leadership in business growth and performance strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations to achieve results.
  • Meet or exceed sales forecasts.
  • Use Salesforce to track leads and maintain a full pipeline of opportunities.

Candidate Profile:

  • 8-15 years of metal stockholding or distributor sales experience (aluminum, stainless, aircraft, automotive metals).
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Bilingual (English, Spanish) highly desirable.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (depending on location).
  • Experience selling into motion control or machine builder industries.
  • Demonstrates initiative, team focus, business intelligence, and tenacious advocacy.
