What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Increase sales through greater penetration within existing accounts and prospecting new accounts
- Meet or exceed assigned annual sales targets
- Provide outstanding customer service to build relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with manufacturers' representatives to promote and sell items
- Communicate and cooperate effectively with all departments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school graduate required; Bachelor's degree in Professional Selling, Marketing, or Business is a plus
- Outside sales experience in the Convenience Store arena preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and oral/written communication skills
- Ability to perform overnight travel up to 50% of the time
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience selling in the paper, packaging, janitorial/sanitation, or food service distribution industry
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting with a diverse group of employees and managers
