Nordson Polymer Processing Systems, a global leader in polymer processing technologies, is seeking a highly motivated and talented Regional Sales Manager to join our team in Eastern Europe. Summary of the role

You will be responsible for achieving growth through developing existing and potential customers, and strategic focus accounts in designated regions to meet and exceed the company’s revenue and margin targets. You identify and fulfill unmet customer needs with differentiated product and service offerings, concentrating on customers and strategic focus accounts. You will introduce new technology and standardization of existing portfolio onto customers to secure new project orders.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Deliver on growth objectives within regional Top and Potential Top OEM and Processor accounts.
  • Pursue strategies to introduce new technology into key target accounts through building relationships and value-selling techniques.
  • Utilize customer data with your personal or team member experience to maintain Top Customer Account Action Plans for regional Top Customer and Strategic Focus Accounts to gain share-of-wallet.
  • Actively utilize and maintain C4C (CRM) to manage Sales Pipeline funnel of opportunities and account activities.
  • Proactively drive configured product standardization template to simplify and meet customer needs with Top Products.
  • Participate in team meetings and share active information about your Top and Potential Top Customers, new applications, new competitive information, new trends, etc.
  • Actively seek information about our competitor's products and services and feedback to our Product Line Management team. Use the information to develop differentiating value-added propositions.
  • Employ an Owner Mindset ability to work within a supporting team environment.
  • Define and implement tactics to increase our company’s share-of-wallet at each of the assigned Top Customer.
  • Perform at least one annual visit to each of your assigned Top Customers to discuss the state of the business and prepare for the following year's budget plan.

Skills and Qualifications

  • University degree or diploma in business or relevant technology.
  • At least 6 years of experience with a proven track record in managing a set of defined accounts. A background in the plastics industry is preferred.
  • Familiar with international business practices with a proven track record of managing customers in Europe.
  • English Language, Level C1.
  • Structured, organized and able to identify the “20%” efforts that yield “80% of results.”
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Highly proactive with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Passion for Industry, solid relationships and networking.

Travel

  • Up to 70%.
