Regional Sales Manager – Oklahoma, Indiana, Louisiana, Arkansas & Iowa
Regional Sales Manager – Oklahoma, Indiana, Louisiana, Arkansas & Iowa

As our Regional Sales Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind Freixenet Mionetto USA’s growth in four diverse states. You’ll combine big-picture strategy with boots-on-the-ground execution—owning distributor relationships, key-account development, retail excellence, and market insights to turn opportunities into tangible results.

Responsibilities:

Territory Strategy & Business Planning

  • Annual Plan: Define volume, distribution & revenue goals by state, channel, brand and top customers
  • Alignment: Sync with national/divisional targets and secure buy-in from distributors & internal teams
  • Quarterly Reviews: Track performance, adjust tactics and capitalize on emerging opportunities
  • Act as primary liaison for Southern Glazer’s and independent partners
  • Set state-level targets; negotiate pricing, programs and staffing commitments
  • Monitor depletions, inventory and pricing integrity monthly; drive corrective actions
  • Oversee charge-backs, accruals and POS allocations within budget

Key-Account & Customer Development

  • Build senior-level relationships with off-premise chains and on-premise top accounts
  • Conduct in-market calls, present solutions and upsell portfolio
  • Coordinate seamlessly between accounts, distributors and FXMUSA for flawless execution
  • Audit & Inspect: Verify shelf sets, displays, menus and pricing match our standards
  • Local Activations: Propose programming ideas to boost velocity in each channel
  • Competitive Insights: Deliver trend reports to Marketing, Trade Development and Leadership

Training & Education

  • Lead distributor sales-meetings, staff trainings and consumer tastings
  • Coach sales reps on brand stories, programs and scorecard metrics

Internal Reporting & Business Management

  • Submit weekly/monthly recaps on wins, challenges and KPI progress
  • Maintain and analyze data in iDig and SGWS reporting platforms
  • Prepare presentations, price quotes and business reviews

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Marketing, Logistics, Finance and Trade Development on:

  • Inventory management
  • Pricing and promotion guidelines
  • Contract negotiations and new-item launches
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing or related)
  • 7+ years in wine/beverage-alcohol sales; 5+ years managing distributors
  • Proven track record growing on- and off-premise business
  • Customer Focus: Builds trust and delivers mutual value
  • Organizational Excellence: Juggles priorities, deadlines and budgets
  • Financial Acumen: Reads P&Ls and pricing standards to guide decisions

  • Collaboration: Fosters teamwork across functions
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word
  • Familiarity with BI/depletion-tracking tools (iDig, Nielsen, or similar)

Travel

  • Frequent overnight travel throughout territory

Physical Requirements

  • Home-office based, with extensive field visits to accounts and distributors
  • Able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs of product or promotional materials
