Kinsa is recruiting for a : Regional Sales Manager – Frozen Foods

Location : Northeast or Midwest (Remote)

Our client is a frozen food manufacturer based in the Midwest or Northeast. The mission for the Regional Sales Manager is establishing, developing, and maintaining strong business relationships. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities in your region, working with identified brokers, prospecting potential customers & converting them into new customers, and executing customer-specific growth plans for existing accounts.   • Successful candidates MUST HAVE 6-10 experience in the food service and wholesale retail industries, frozen food preferred.

Compensation / Benefits :

  • 80,000 – $110,000 compensation range
  • Vacation and Holiday pay

Key Responsibilities and Goals :

  • Daily administrative functions include shipment coordination of samples to customers, purchase order overview & make necessary corrections, general customer service, existing & new customer lead entry in CRM and internal file management.
  • Proactively meet with customers to assist in their overall business growth and development, by coordinating travel, appointments, activities etc. to reflect Strategic Account Plans.
  • Exceed expectations in developing and acquiring new accounts in various markets by continuously developing their new customer pipeline.
  • Cost / pricing analysis using an internal pricing template to ensure adequate customer pricing.
  • Ability to motivate and influence buyers, brokers, and distributors to grow sales ahead of our competitors.
  • Keep current with economic indicators, changing trends, supply and demand and competitors to maintain sales volume and product mix.
  • Skilled and comfortable in all types of negotiations and selling environments including live, phone, video call, text, and email.

Competencies Needed for Success :

  • High School Diploma or Higher, Bachelor’s Degree in business or related business preferred.
  • 6-10 Years of food service and retail, branded consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience.
  • Consistent track record of success in growing your brands and / or businesses.
  • Willingness to travel 50% to distributors and end market operators.
