Regional Sales Manager - New Jersey/Delaware

Overview

Bonterra Organic Estates and our division, Viña Concha y Toro USA (VCT-USA), are hiring a Regional Sales Manager to expand market share in on/off premise channels across New Jersey and Delaware. The role involves working independently and collaboratively with distributor personnel and our sales and marketing teams, actively engaging in market visits, maintaining key accounts, participating in trade activities, and building direct customer relationships. This position reports to the VP Sales East.

Location & Travel

This is a remote, home-office role, ideally based near North New Jersey. It requires extensive travel within the field, including account visits, distributor meetings, and approximately 10-15% overnight travel.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Represent VCT-USA brands at targeted accounts, securing distribution and displays in retail and on-premise locations.
  2. Provide product education and training to accounts and distributor teams.
  3. Support local marketing initiatives and execute brand strategies.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, with at least five years of distributor or supplier sales experience, or equivalent.
  • Proven success in wine or spirits sales, with knowledge of the industry in NJ/DE markets.
  • Understanding of the three-tier distribution system, familiarity with Fedway Associates (NJ) and Breakthru Beverage (DE).
  • Knowledge of wine principles, industry practices, and food and wine pairing.
  • Valid driver’s license, vehicle, insurance, and willingness to travel overnight (10-15%).
Physical & Other Requirements

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., work at a desk for extended periods, and perform physical activities related to travel and account visits.

Benefits & Compensation

Includes medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and a base salary of $110,000-$120,000 with a 25% incentive target.
