Job Description

This Regional Sales Manager (RSM) role is responsible for driving Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) sales of Axis Communications Intercom & Door station products, including 2N devices, throughout the assigned geographic territory. In this role the RSM supports existing customers (end users, integrators, A&E’s & distribution partners) through pre-sales and sales activities, works to define new appropriate customers developing them into ongoing customers and works with product managers to drive sales successfully in the territory.

The ideal candidate for this role will cover the Western Coastal states and should be comfortable with 50% estimated travel.

What you’ll do here as the PACS RSM:

  • Create a region wide business plan that will achieve and exceed sales and margin targets for the region.
  • Develop and grow key Integration partners who will drive usage among their end users.
  • Discover and cultivate key A&E specifiers in the region who will support and spec PACS products in project-based opportunities.
  • Develop key relationships with distribution branches that support Axis/2N.
  • Work with the US team to develop best practices and transfer knowledge within the Axis/2N team.
  • Identify and participate in key industry events, meetings, trade shows, conferences and associations, promoting Axis/2N within the industry.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and reports on activity and pipelines using SFDC. Keep all reporting up to date on a weekly basis and achieve pipeline and opportunity targets as set by sales management.
  • Be a team player working with all Axis/2N personnel to advance our overall business.
  • Work always with the highest level of ethics and proper business etiquette.
  • Achieve monthly and annual quotas.
  • Travel as appropriate to cover the region including up to 70% of the time.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • We'd love to hear that you have/are:
  • Experience with access control, IP intercoms, and IP Audio is highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent electronic trade training
  • 3-5+ years’ in sales driven position
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • Strong technical background

Travel:

Expected travel time for this position is approximately 50-70%.

Pay Range:

The approximate pay range for this location (*based on location*) and position is $130,000-150,000 annually On Target Earnings / Total Target Compensation. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
