As an Industrial Regional Sales Manager, you are the primary front-line sales representative for strategic accounts. You are vital to our organization’s ability to deliver customer value and drive accelerated growth. You will work within a strong network of dedicated professionals who provide industry-leading customer service and support via Senior Leadership, Sales, Inside Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Technical Support, Project Sales, Bids Team, and Technical Applications professionals.
Reporting to the Director, NA Sales West, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for proactively selling to existing and new logo industrial customers within a defined geographic territory to drive market penetration and accelerated sales growth. In this role, you will entrepreneurially target the industrial vertical by engaging in person to build funnel, prospect for new logos, provide existing customer account management, and pursue new projects. You will leverage multiple selling resources including inside sales, distribution channel sales, and other sales resources to create a winning go-to-market strategy.
This position is part of the Commercial Sales team and will be located in either
North Texas, West Oklahoma or West Kansas and will cover this region remotely. Working from a home office, this highly autonomous role requires an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to develop and execute a collaborative business plan and manage territory as if it were your own business.
You will be provided with a company car (which can also be used personally).
RSMs are usually on the road visiting customers at a minimum Tuesday through Thursday. Travel expected for this role is 75%.
In this role, a typical day will look like:- Developing monthly sales territory and account plans to achieve targets
- Preparing and presenting monthly funnel reviews using SFDC to demonstrate funnel quality, activity plans, and account management
- Preparing and presenting monthly forecasts, accurately handling opportunity data in SFDC
- Establishing and managing relationships with engineering firms and other accounts influencing buying decisions
- Reporting on competitive activity, business opportunities, sales trends, and results during monthly reviews
- Participating in sales activities including customer visits, calls, trade shows, product demos, and channel management
The essential requirements of the job include:- 5+ years of direct sales experience, including B2B sales of complex industrial solutions
- Experience in markets such as Power, Food & Beverage, Chemical, Pulp & Paper, Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining, Industrial Water Treatment, etc.
- Bachelor's degree required; a science-related degree (Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering) is a plus; Master’s preferred
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems like Salesforce
- Formal sales training or experience with methodologies like Question Based Selling, Value Selling, Sandler, etc.

US ONLY: The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $100,000 USD per year, plus bonus potential. Compensation is based on various factors including experience, education, and location. We offer comprehensive benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
