What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and manage a sales and account management team to achieve sales quotas and revenue goals
- Develop and implement an annual operational business plan for the region
- Recruit, train, and coach team members to optimize performance and ensure coverage of all territories
- Provide timely regional sales reports and forecasts to divisional management
- Foster positive relationships with internal and external customers, addressing any escalation issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Four-year college degree required; JD or MBA preferred
- Minimum of 4+ years in a successful sales or account management role
- Strong understanding of the government legal market and relevant products
- Proven leadership and management skills with a track record of sales success
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior field management experience
- Established knowledge of West products and services, especially the Westlaw platform
- Service orientation and experience with professional client presentations
- High degree of integrity and strong negotiation skills
