Job Overview:
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be pivotal in driving the growth of our electric car-share service across private communities in New York and the East Coast. This position is ideal for a sales leader with a passion for sustainability and the innovation to meet the unique transportation needs of private residential communities. You’ll manage strategic partnerships, develop go-to-market strategies, and leverage our product’s environmental and convenience benefits to grow our client base. The successful candidate will manage the sales team’s performance to achieve monthly and annual sales targets. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years previous sales management experience, including multiple years selling EV products and/or services to commercial property owners and managers in segments that include commercial real estate. In addition, we are looking for an individual who has previous experience leading the expansion of a sales team. This is a great position for a proven sales manager eager to make a big impact in a fast-growing company and industry.
Responsibilities:
  1. Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the New York region, identifying and prioritizing potential communities for partnership.
    • Drive sales initiatives to meet and exceed revenue and growth targets.
    • Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with brand objectives and service offerings.
  2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
    • Prospect, identify, and engage decision-makers in private communities, property management firms, and HOA boards.
    • Lead presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations, emphasizing our service’s unique value to residents and community managers.
    • Build long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and main point of contact for ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
  3. Market Insights & Competitor Analysis:
    • Monitor regional market trends, competition, and customer feedback to continuously adapt and refine sales approaches.
    • Provide feedback to product development teams on features that would improve resident experience and adoption rates.
  4. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment:
    • Work with internal teams, including Operations and Customer Support, to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new communities.
    • Partner with marketing to support lead generation activities and brand awareness in the region.
  5. Other Duties:
    • Lead Envoy’s East Coast Territory Sales Managers and Sales Development Representatives.
    • Establish and achieve key monthly, quarterly, and annual sales team targets.
    • Recruit and on-board new sales representatives and mentor and coach existing sales team members.
    • Work with leadership to establish strategic direction to meet corporate sales goals and provide oversight for execution by sales team.
    • Collaborate with leadership and directs sales teams to identify and pursue target strategic markets and clients.
    • Provide support to the management team, while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behavior.
    • Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
  • 5-10 years of work experience in B2B sales and sales management
  • Experience of sales preferably in mobility, real estate, technology, or related fields.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
  • Track record of successful direct sales management performance in fast growing companies
  • Experience growing a sales team including both recruiting and on-boarding.
  • Understanding of CRM tools such as Hubspot or Salesforce.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional ability to connect with high level decision makers and convey confidence, sincerity, and credibility in representing Envoy’s products and services.
  • Experience selling into commercial real estate markets, a plus.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
  • 5+ years of work experience in direct sales
