Regional Sales Manager – Enterprise Cybersecurity (Bay Area)

Compensation: $140K–$160K Base + Uncapped OTE + Equity

A well-funded cybersecurity software company — backed by some of the most respected names in private equity and venture capital — is seeking a top-performing enterprise sales leader to own and grow their Northern California territory. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-momentum vendor in one of the most high-impact sales roles in the company.

Our client is an innovation leader in a rapidly growing cybersecurity segment. Their technology is already used by hundreds of global customers and is considered essential in the modern security stack.

They’re looking for an elite, senior-level cybersecurity sales professional who has the experience and drive to close complex deals, the skill to build lasting customer relationships, and the expertise to scale their territory with autonomy.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead strategic enterprise sales across a well-defined regional territory (NorCal), targeting primarily F1000 and large enterprise accounts.
  • Own the full sales cycle — from initial prospecting and qualification to CISO engagement, technical validation, and deal closure.
  • Leverage your network of CIOs, CISOs, and senior security leaders to build pipeline and accelerate opportunities.
  • Operate as a trusted advisor, selling value-driven, technical solutions that challenge traditional approaches to security.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with channel teams, sales engineers, and leadership to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Work closely with top local VARs and reseller partners to co-sell, expand influence, and drive revenue through the channel.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of direct enterprise cybersecurity sales experience, with at least 2 years at a growth-stage (Series C or later) vendor.
  • A track record of exceeding quota consistently — you’ve hit President’s Club multiple times and know what it takes to win in competitive markets.
  • Deep Rolodex of enterprise contacts in the Bay Area — especially among CISOs and security decision-makers in the F1000 space.
  • Strong existing relationships with regional VARs and MSSPs who can vouch for your reputation and past deal success.
  • Tenure — 2+ years at each of your last few roles. You’ve built, not bounced around.
  • Strong technical sales acumen — able to lead demos, understand product architecture, and speak credibly to both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with a hybrid/remote setup and open to travel within the region.
