Position Objective:

The AAF International Energy business focuses on aftermarket sales of filter elements, replacement components, filter housings, and systems, as well as enhancements to improve engine life, performance, output, and emissions. We supply gas turbine OEMs with equipment and filtration solutions, primarily targeting the power generation sector for land-based and offshore oil and gas applications, including diesel engine and nuclear filtration.

The Regional Sales Manager will execute sales goals, implement strategic growth initiatives, manage external sales representatives, and lead direct sales activities within the assigned region.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Focus on East Coast Region (Maine to Florida) end users and distributors.
  • Achieve regional sales objectives, develop action plans, and implement customer service standards.
  • Forecast requirements, prepare budgets, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions.
  • Develop installed base data, manage competitor and demand data using CRM tools.
  • Create sales plans aligned with national objectives.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and develop sales channels.
  • Identify new product opportunities and monitor market trends.
  • Enhance knowledge through professional development and networking.
  • Contribute to organizational success by achieving related results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, environmental, chemical, industrial) or 5 years of sales experience in the energy industry.
  • Technical industry experience, particularly in filtration, power generation, oil & gas.
  • Knowledge of airflow and filtration concepts.
  • Experience in sales channel development and management.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce), Excel, Word.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to present in large group settings.
  • Experience in gas turbines, power generation, Oil & Gas markets, or filtration markets.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and business analysis skills.
