Your Opportunity

Regional Sales Manager – Growth

The Regional Sales Manager – Growth (RSM) is responsible for expanding market share and revenue for EBSCO’s Clinical Decisions for the Central Region that includes the following states: WI, MN, Ill, IN, MO, IA, KS, OK, AR, TX, LA product portfolio across hospitals, health systems, physician groups, and medical associations within the Central Region.

You will serve as the growth leader within a POD—a cross-functional team that includes Sales, Customer Success, and Implementation roles—working collaboratively to support a defined set of customers. As the POD lead, you will align team efforts toward revenue retention, customer expansion, and increased product usage.

The ideal candidate brings deep healthcare industry knowledge, strong sales acumen, and a collaborative spirit with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding growth targets.

This is a remote, U.S.-based position (excluding U.S. territories).

What Youll Do
  • Serve as the primary leader of a regional POD, coordinating with Customer Success and Implementation to align strategy and execution across customer accounts.

  • Develop and own a strategic territory plan to meet sales goals, including prospecting, outreach, and in-person engagement. As the POD leader, this strategy will guide and align the cross-functional team’s collective efforts in your territory.

  • Retain existing revenue while driving growth through expansion and cross-sell opportunities, achieving defined sales and renewal targets.

  • Deliver formal proposals, coordinate product trials, and provide relevant materials—in collaboration with other POD leaders and Account Executives.

  • Travel up to 70% for client meetings, conferences, and internal sales events.

  • Build deep knowledge of EBSCO solutions and the competitive landscape.

  • Share market insights to inform product innovation and marketing efforts.

Your Team

You’ll join the Clinical Decisions team, a high-performing group of about 40 professionals, and partner closely with colleagues across Sales and Marketing. Within your regional POD, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated team focused on supporting and growing customer relationships in your specific territory. You\u2019ll also work with our valued channel partners to maximize reach and impact.

About You
  • 7+ years of sales experience, ideally in healthcare or related medical industries

Pay Range

USD $115,750.00 - USD $165,360.00 /Yr.

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location.
