Under the direction of the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for achieving the company's growth goals in the assigned region. The role acts as the key contact for all assigned customers, handling business development, inquiry solicitation, and new order acquisition. Collaboration with the VP Sales and Marketing and the Inside Sales Manager on price negotiations, inquiry tracking, and after-sales service supervision is essential. The Regional Sales Manager will develop expertise in Andritz products, customer needs, and advanced sales techniques to make informed recommendations. Additionally, they will advise management on regional growth opportunities. The territory for this role includes AL, TN, MS, KY.

Requirements
Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Result Items
  • Achieve the annual sales plan
  • Maintain and grow existing top-line sales with key accounts
  • Engage directly with decision-makers to generate new business
  • Utilize consultative selling techniques to develop new opportunities
  • Promote Andritz's focus on advanced technologies and application engineering
  • Meet sales and marketing objectives
  • Expand market share and grow top-line sales
  • Develop sales and marketing goals based on market segmentation
  • Measure and report customer satisfaction
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery, and sales contracts
  • Secure purchase orders and exceed sales targets
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain key relationships
  • Work with management to develop marketing strategies
  • Monitor market trends and industry developments
  • Share information and best practices with other sales managers
  • Propose sales forecasts and budget needs
  • Provide management reports on quotations, orders, and sales development
Technology Skills
