Overview

The Regional Sales Manager is a key leadership role responsible for driving CQ Partner’s market share growth in the hearing healthcare industry. This individual will lead business development initiatives, manage a high-performing sales team, and oversee portfolio growth and recruiting efforts. By collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, the Regional Sales Manager will ensure the sales organization achieves its objectives and delivers measurable results.


Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Drive unit growth by fully implementing CQ Partners’ solution package to enhance practice offerings, staff productivity, and customer base expansion.
  • Develop and execute quarterly business development and recruiting plans to achieve targeted results for each Account Manager.
  • Oversee the implementation of Action Plan Management and Value Visibility processes to ensure operational excellence.
  • Conduct regular staff development sessions and education programs in collaboration with Account Managers.
  • Utilize CQ Partners’ financial tools to optimize practice growth and profitability.
  • Lead business meetings with key accounts throughout the year.

Strategic Planning

  • Collaborate with the SVP of Sales to define and implement CQ Partners’ value proposition, positioning the company as the leading resource for developing world-class practices.
  • Drive business process and behavioral change through innovative strategies.
  • Identify and capitalize on market expansion opportunities by integrating additional resources and services.
  • Define and execute regional marketing strategies in alignment with the SVP of Sales.
  • Monitor industry, market, and competitive trends to seize opportunities and mitigate risks.

Team Management and Leadership

  • Lead, inspire, and manage a field sales team to build a robust portfolio of practices and achieve year-over-year unit growth.
  • Develop the sales team by fostering the competencies required for success.
  • Conduct performance reviews and gather feedback from multiple sources to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Partner with the SVP of Sales to oversee recruiting, hiring, training, and performance management of employees.

Portfolio Development and Recruiting

  • Ensure the region meets or exceeds budget targets for unit sales, revenue, and profitability.
  • Manage Account Managers’ recruiting efforts and pipeline to achieve new unit volume targets.
  • Oversee new business activities, including monthly and quarterly forecasting.
  • Represent CQ Partners at industry events and build strong relationships with internal and external vendor partners.
  • Lead initiatives in niche markets, including mid-group, large-group, and private equity opportunities.
  • Perform additional tasks or projects as directed by the manager.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of sales management experience, including both inside and field sales.
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue and efficiency through strategic business strategies.
  • Experience managing a value-add service delivery model and sales teams with multiple product lines.
  • Demonstrated success in managing sales revenue of at least $25 million annually.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or equivalent experience).
  • MBA highly preferred.

This role works out of the office but may be asked to work at home and/or be remote at times. You will need the following when working from home:

  • Reliable and secure Internet Service Provider at home (no public WiFi) for duration of working hours
  • Sufficient room to set up a laptop, monitors, keyboard and mouse
  • Comfortable space to work for duration of working hours
  • Quiet, private and secure space in which to work

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $120,000 to $150,000 per year; however, while the salary range is effective as of the date of this posting, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including but not limited to experience level, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as bonus, commissions, or discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
