Job summary

Airsupply Tools is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to grow our DoD customer base in the Southern region, focusing on Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard installations. You will own the full sales cycle, build relationships with government and distribution partners, and coordinate with Inside Sales, Engineering, and Program Management teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Travel up to 50% may be required as you represent the company at trade shows and base visits, driving growth

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of outside sales experience in the defense industry.
  • Proven success in territory management and government or military sales.
  • Strong understanding of DoD structure, procurement processes, and base-level maintenance operations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and travel up to 50% within the Southern region.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital sales tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand brand presence across Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard installations in the Southern Region.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, procurement officers, maintenance managers, distribution partners and program stakeholders.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and capability briefings tailored to defense customers’ needs.
  • Collaborate with internal Inside Sales Representatives (ISR), Engineering, and Program Management teams to deliver customized solutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract award, ensuring timely follow-up and documentation in Salesforce.
  • Track and report sales performance, forecasts, and market intelligence to management.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry days, and base visits to promote brand visibility.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of defense acquisition processes, contract vehicles, and procurement pathways.
  • Provide customer feedback and market insights to support continuous product and service improvement.

Job description

For over 20 years we have manufactured tool kits and 5S foam inserts for commercial, government, and manufacturing customers.

One-stop-shop. In addition to being a full line industrial distributor we can provide customized kitting services including foam inserts, laser marking, custom tool manufacturing and storage solutions.

Innovation. We own the patent on a unique tool storage system related to the US Navys famous white box kits. Our shadowed background system reduces FOD and improves tool accountability. We support spares for all boxes in the fleet.

Smartbox. Our latest innovation not only tracks tools automatically but allows reorder of broken/worn tools from the box directly. This step when coupled with a bpa/lta would save hundreds in processing costs per tool! Available for order Q4 2025.

Position Overview:

The selected candidate must be located within the Southern region (Texas, Oklahoma).

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding brand presence within the U.S. Department of Defense customer base across all military branches in the Southern region (Texas, Oklahoma). This individual will focus on promoting and selling advanced tool control and asset management solutions to military installations, maintenance facilities, and defense contractors. The RSM will serve as the primary customer interface in the field, identifying new opportunities, managing relationships (customer and distribution partner), and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Strong understanding of DoD structure, procurement processes, and base-level maintenance operations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven with the ability to work independently and travel extensively within the region (up to 50%).
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital sales tools.
