Job summary

North Atlantic Industries is seeking a regional sales leader to plan, organize, and direct all sales operations for a designated area in the United States. You will guide reps, forecast activities, and provide pre/post sales technical support to customers via phone, email, or fax.

The role requires BSEE or equivalent and at least 5 years of sales experience with 2 years in management, plus strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Provide short/long term goals and objectives for reps within the region.
• Forecast sales activities for planning.
• Assist customers with pre and post sales technical support via phone, email and fax.
• Provide product training to sales reps and regional managers.
• Provide quotes with price breakdowns and lead times.
• Attain target sales revenue and performance through the effective management of daily operation of respective representative network.
• Support/participate sales reps' selling efforts through coaching and conference calls with customers.
• Maintain awareness of market conditions and competitor products and pricing.
• Maintain working knowledge of all three NAI product lines and capabilities.
• Research and find new opportunities and applications for our products and follow up on leads.
• In the field, visiting customers and managing the reps a minimum of 25% of the time.
• Travel into the field periodically to help close opportunities and evaluate performance of reps.

Summary

• Candidates must be a U.S. Person, defined as either a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder), and must be able to provide appropriate documentation upon hire to verify this status. Qualifications And Education Requirements

• BSEE preferred or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years sales experience and two years of management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
