Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Sales Manager to oversee sales operations in the Midwest and West regions. Reporting to the President, this role entails strategic management of sales personnel, developing and maintaining relationships with national accounts, and driving revenue growth. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our client’s market share while upholding the company's quality and customer satisfaction reputation.

Location

Remote, with preference for candidates located in the Indianapolis, IN metro area

Travel: 50%

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee sales teams in both the Midwest and West regions, including direct employees and independent rep groups.
• Manage relationships with national accounts, focusing on large kitchen and bath fitters and driving revenue growth.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to meet sales targets and expand market reach
• Collaborate with the Vice President of Sales and other key stakeholders to develop and implement sales strategies
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to the sales team to ensure individual and collective success
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners, fostering a high level of trust and satisfaction
• Analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges

Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing industry or a related field
• Proven track record of successful sales leadership and revenue generation
• Demonstrated ability to create and execute strategic sales plans
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to nurture partnerships
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including the ability to deliver an effective elevator pitch
• Experience managing and leading a team of at least 5 direct reports
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to engage with sales teams and customers across the region.
