Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

Job Description

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing all sales, customer relations, employee management, and profitability within the designated region. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive sales plans for the region and its territories, in alignment with the National Sales Plan. The position requires regular travel to territories and recruitment, training, and management of Regional Sales Executives and Jobsite Specialists.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales plans for the region and each territory.
  • Grow sales and profit based on the National Sales Plan.
  • Travel regularly to territories to manage regional operations.
  • Recruit, train, and manage Regional Sales Executives and Jobsite Specialists.
  • Identify and establish relationships with new distributors as needed.
  • Attend national and regional trade shows.
  • Participate in special projects as requested.
  • File timely reports, including expense, show, dealer visit, CRM, confirmation, and sales plans for the region.
  • Manage the promotional budget.
  • Collaborate with the Office Manager to collect overdue accounts.
  • Implement programs with accounts related to PSI, Concrete, and other specified areas.
  • Support engineering research efforts.
  • Submit monthly expense reports.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Solid work ethic.
  • Prior experience in outside sales roles, including developing promotions, pricing, training, jobsites, open houses, and sales planning.
  • Ability to manage and motivate outside sales personnel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in Tool, Construction, Facility Maintenance, or tool manufacturing industry.
  • Capability to demonstrate products on jobsites.
  • Physical ability to travel regularly, set up/dismantle trade shows and open houses, and lift and carry heavy objects.
Work Environment

The role involves extensive travel, with 50-75% travel in the Northeast region, including visits to trade shows and client sites. The company provides a phone, a monthly car allowance of $400, and covers all travel and related expenses. A company computer is also provided.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/yr.

90% of medical is paid for by the employer, with a co-pay plan
