Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Director for the Gulf Central Territory to join our team. This pivotal role will focus on driving business growth by managing independent rep agencies and advancing specification sales. As the Regional Director of Plumbing & Mechanical Sales, you will oversee sales performance, manage costs, and develop regional growth strategies. Your responsibilities include converting specifications from architects, engineers, and contractors to our product portfolio, and identifying new sales opportunities with both new and existing customers. You will report directly to the SVP of Sales and Marketing and should be located near a major airport.

This role involves traveling up to 50% and requires residence in either Dallas, TX or Houston, TX.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales across a multi-state region, working with multiple independent rep agents.
  • Take responsibility for the region’s top-line sales, price realization, and SG&A budget, and implement measures to address shortfalls.
  • Drive specifications for new and existing products, engaging with engineers, owners, regulators, contractors, and architects.
  • Lead campaigns to promote Zurn Elkay products to key stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and support regional sales managers and business development managers to achieve growth objectives.
  • Coordinate with all product groups and sales functions to ensure a unified approach.
  • Manage the performance of the Third Party Representative Firm network, setting sales, pricing, and growth goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Provide market intelligence and input for product planning based on VOC and competitors.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of regional, national, or territory sales experience with at least 7 years in sales leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred, in Marketing, Business Management, or Engineering.
  • Experience managing growth through Independent Representatives in the commercial and industrial plumbing & mechanical channels.

  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools like Salesforce or DCRM.

Salary Range: $160,000 - $220,000
