A leading trading company is seeking a Regional Sales Executive to handle sales and marketing of engineering plastics in the Asia Pacific region. The ideal candidate must have a degree in Chemical Engineering and experience in regional sales and market analysis. This position requires frequent business travel. The company offers a dynamic work environment focused on maximizing business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Possess a Degree or Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 1 – 6 years of Regional Sales and Market Analysis experience.
  • Familiar with Letter Of Credit (LC).
  • Prior experience from Trading industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Sales and Marketing of Engineering Plastics in Asia Pacific region.
  • Set up credit line and manage credit control.
  • Liaison and coordination with suppliers and clients.

  • Ability to travel frequently on business trips in Asian regions

Job Scope:

  • Sales and Marketing of Engineering Plastics, Polyurethane chemical, Silicone or Polymer in Asia Pacific region
  • Set up credit line, review and analyze financial status of customers and manage credit control in accordance with our company’s requirement
  • Liaison and coordination with supplier, clients and overseas offices
  • Monthly / Weekly pricing from suppliers to customers / distributors
  • Bi-yearly review on sales budget set with suppliers / distributors
  • Monthly sales reporting
  • Establish strong relationship with customers and maximize business opportunity share from the customers
  • Sales presentation to customers for new product grade
  • Manage customer support activities and assigned personnel, to maximize profit, growth and industry awareness within the boundaries set in the product marketing strategies / objectives
  • Manage outstanding invoices
  • Provide market intelligence and share within team
  • Any other related ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Possess a Degree / Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
  • Possess 1 – 6 years of Regional Sales and Market Analysis experience
  • Familiar with Letter Of Credit (LC)
  • No experience are welcome to apply
  • Prior experience from Trading industry is advantageous
  • Product experience in Polyurethane / Chemical / Silicone / Rubber / PU Application / PU Machine Operation / Polymer / Plastic is advantageous
  • Ability to travel frequently on business trips in Asian regions
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Strong communications. Interpersonal and presentation skills
