Blacksmith Agency, an AI-first digital agency, seeks a Regional Sales Director for Veterinary to own our largest multi-location deals from initial meeting to contract. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, targeting strategic veterinary groups across locations.

One win covers multiple clinics and opens the door to further expansion. Remote (USA or Canada) with inbound and SDR-generated meetings.

Qualifications

• Proven track record closing $1M+ annually on large, multi-location accounts.
• Experience selling into veterinary groups or multi-location marketing/agency services.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with multiple decision makers.
• Preference for closing deals over people management.

• Own full sales cycle for large multi-location deals from discovery to close (3–12 months).
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders at the table.
• Drive expansion to additional locations and services after signing.
• Collaborate on proposals with strategists and company leadership for key deals.

No direct reports. This is an individual contributor seat going after strategic, multi-location veterinary accounts: large groups you open and close yourself.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency running websites, SEO and paid media for veterinary groups and multi-clinic practices. As Regional Sales Director for Veterinary, you own our largest multi-location veterinary deals, from the first meeting with ownership to the signed contract. One win covers many locations, so each deal is large, multi-stakeholder and worth the work. Our sales development team and inbound put qualified meetings with these groups on your calendar, so your time goes to closing.

The seat

• $2M annual quota, carried on a small number of large accounts.
• Leads fed to you: meetings with veterinary groups and multi-clinic practices, booked by our sales development team or inbound.
• No management. No team to build, hire or run.
• Strategic accounts: veterinary groups with many locations, where one signed deal covers the whole group and opens the next.

What You Will Own

• The full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, over 3 to 12 months.
• Deals with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders all at the table.
• Expansion: more locations and more services once a group signs.
• Proposals built with our strategists and leadership for the deals that matter most.

What You Bring

• A record of closing $1M+ a year on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Selling into veterinary groups, or marketing and agency services to similar multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative cycles with several decision makers. If your background is high-volume, single-location or one-call transactional sales, this is a different job.
• You would rather close business than manage people.
