Overview
The Regional Sales Director is responsible for securing new business and independently managing a sales area and sales team, often remotely from Kestra’s main offices. This position contacts and consults with clients across a mix of clinical settings and leads a team of Territory Representatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Meet and exceed assigned revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Plan, organize, and implement sales programs for the assigned region; manage sales activities.
- Communicate, implement, and monitor Kestra Strategic Plan; analyze and report regional trends.
- Manage Territory Representatives to align with regional expectations and improve performance.
- Lead, motivate, and inspire the team by example; hire, educate, develop, and retain high-performing Territory Representatives.
- Work in the field an average of 60% (three business days per week) with Territory Managers.
- Engage with key accounts and build relationships in a professional and ethical manner.
- Consistently meet or exceed regional performance objectives, including order counts, booked revenue, and profit.
- Contribute to Kestra’s profitability through control of discounts and expenses.
- Reinforce product positioning strategy in the field; share information openly with others.
- Adhere to the Pledge of Confidentiality.
- Information regarding a patient shall not be released outside of the company without signed permission; information is released internally on a need-to-know basis when involved with the patient’s case.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience in medical equipment sales management
- Strong business acumen; experience with sales model coaching (e.g., Challenger Sale, SPIN Selling or similar)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record; ability to work remotely
- Must reside in the assigned region and be able to achieve credentialing for hospital systems (including vaccination status, background check, drug screening, and completion of online courses such as HIPAA, Bloodborne Pathogens, Electrical/Fire Safety)
- Preferred: Knowledge of MS Office; experience with MS Teams
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directly supervise Territory Managers, including performance reviews, feedback, and development goals.
Work Environment
- Fast-paced field role with noise typical of clinical settings.
- Extended hours when needed.

Compensation: An annual base salary of $200,000, with a location- and experience-appropriate bonus.
