We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Director for the US Public Sector, focusing on the State and Local government and higher education (SLED) verticals in the Upper Midwest Region. Your role will involve developing and executing strategic sales plans to meet profitability and business objectives, leading your team, and collaborating with leadership and marketing to drive sales strategies. You will be responsible for ensuring the team meets revenue and customer satisfaction goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading sales teams within the IT solutions sector, specifically in the SLED vertical.

Qualifications
  • Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales quotas consistently
  • Experience hiring, training, and empowering high-performance sales teams
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a sales environment
  • Experience with large revenue targets in SLED markets
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and forecast accurately
  • Experience with proposal development, negotiations, and client follow-up
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies like Strategic Sales, SPIN, Solution Selling, etc.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM tools
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in technology solutions with leadership success
  • At least 3 years of experience in SLED sales
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Residency within the Mid-West USA region
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
