Regional Sales Director (must reside in Texas, Arizona, or Colorado)

We are seeking a Regional Sales Director - Corporate to join our team! The Regional Sales Director is responsible for driving growth in the assigned territory for all size groups (small, medium, large / national accounts). This includes cultivating relationships with prospects, consultants, brokers, and Blues Plans; creating and executing a regional business plan; building a robust pipeline; and achieving regional sales targets.

Candidates must reside in Texas, Arizona, or Colorado.

Responsibilities:
  1. Build a Regional Business Plan to strengthen the company's market position and profitability.
  2. Ensure sales goals are achieved through consistent and effective sales activities.
  3. Cultivate relationships with current and prospective corporations, consultants, brokers, and Blues Plans.
  4. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline with full documentation of activities in Salesforce (or other sales tools).
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Operations, and Underwriting to achieve sales goals.
  6. Attend industry events such as Blue plan meetings, broker events, conferences, and tradeshows.
  7. Act as the SME for all global needs within the region.
  8. Become a regional subject matter expert on current business, opportunities, challenges, and market information.
  9. Drive regional strategic initiatives and change management.
  10. Work with Client Management and Underwriting teams to meet client needs, retain clients, and identify growth opportunities.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent experience.
  2. 8-10 years of sales experience.
  3. Preferred: 6+ years of experience in Healthcare, Insurance, Assistance Services, or global benefits industry.
  4. Experience with large, complex national accounts.
  5. Consultative selling skills.
  6. Global healthcare experience is preferred.
  7. Underwriting/Finance knowledge is a plus.
  8. Strong communication, client service, and problem-solving skills.
  9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce.
  10. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  11. Ability to work independently, manage stress, and meet deadlines.
  12. Mentoring ability for sales team members.
  13. Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  14. Willingness to travel 50%; regular presence in the market and occasional trips to King of Prussia, PA.
  15. Minimum internet speed of 75 Mbps.
Working Conditions:
  • Remote and office work flexibility.
  • Occasional schedule flexibility outside normal hours.
  • Must communicate effectively via auditory and visual methods.
