We are seeking a Regional Sales Director - Corporate to join our team! The Regional Sales Director is responsible for driving growth in the assigned territory for all size groups (small, medium, large / national accounts). This includes cultivating relationships with prospects, consultants, brokers, and Blues Plans; creating and executing a regional business plan; building a robust pipeline; and achieving regional sales targets.
Candidates must reside in Texas, Arizona, or Colorado.
Responsibilities:
- Build a Regional Business Plan to strengthen the company's market position and profitability.
- Ensure sales goals are achieved through consistent and effective sales activities.
- Cultivate relationships with current and prospective corporations, consultants, brokers, and Blues Plans.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline with full documentation of activities in Salesforce (or other sales tools).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Operations, and Underwriting to achieve sales goals.
- Attend industry events such as Blue plan meetings, broker events, conferences, and tradeshows.
- Act as the SME for all global needs within the region.
- Become a regional subject matter expert on current business, opportunities, challenges, and market information.
- Drive regional strategic initiatives and change management.
- Work with Client Management and Underwriting teams to meet client needs, retain clients, and identify growth opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent experience.
- 8-10 years of sales experience.
- Preferred: 6+ years of experience in Healthcare, Insurance, Assistance Services, or global benefits industry.
- Experience with large, complex national accounts.
- Consultative selling skills.
- Global healthcare experience is preferred.
- Underwriting/Finance knowledge is a plus.
- Strong communication, client service, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage stress, and meet deadlines.
- Mentoring ability for sales team members.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel 50%; regular presence in the market and occasional trips to King of Prussia, PA.
- Minimum internet speed of 75 Mbps.
Working Conditions:
