Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Regional Sales Director for HVAC to own the largest multi-location deals from first meeting to signed contract. This is an individual-contributor role with no direct reports, remote across the USA or Canada, focusing on strategic HVAC groups.

You will close cycles 3 to 12 months, with annual quota of $2M, collaborating with inbound leads and our strategists, expanding locations and services as groups sign.

Qualifications

• Track record of closing $1M+ yearly on large multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience selling into HVAC groups or marketing/agency services to multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with multiple decision-makers.
• Prefer closing business over people management.
• Ability to work independently with no direct reports.

No direct reports. This is an individual contributor seat going after strategic, multi-location HVAC accounts: large groups you open and close yourself.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency running websites, SEO and paid media for multi-location HVAC and home service groups. As Regional Sales Director for HVAC, you own our largest multi-location HVAC deals, from the first meeting with ownership to the signed contract. One win covers many locations, so each deal is large, multi-stakeholder and worth the work. Our sales development team and inbound put qualified meetings with these groups on your calendar, so your time goes to closing.

The seat

• $2M annual quota, carried on a small number of large accounts.
• Leads fed to you: meetings with multi-location HVAC and home service groups, booked by our sales development team or inbound.
• No management. No team to build, hire or run.
• Strategic accounts: HVAC groups with many locations, where one signed deal covers the whole group and opens the next.
