Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Regional Sales Director for HVAC, handling the full sales cycle for large, multi-location groups. You will own deals from discovery through closing, engaging owners, regional operators and marketing leaders across multiple sites.

The role is fully remote (USA or Canada) with no direct reports and a focus on multi-location growth. Experience closing $1M+ annually in enterprise accounts is required.

Qualifications

• A track record of closing $1M+ annually on large multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience selling into HVAC groups or marketing/agency services to multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with several decision makers.
• If your background is high-volume, single-location or one-call transactional sales, this is a different role.
• You would rather close business than manage people.

Responsibilities

• Own the full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, 3–12 months.
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders at the table.
• Expand: add more locations and services after a group signs.
• Collaborate on proposals with strategists and leadership for key deals.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency running websites, SEO and paid media for multi-location HVAC and home service groups. As Regional Sales Director for HVAC, you own our largest multi-location HVAC deals, from the first meeting with ownership to the signed contract. One win covers many locations, so each deal is large, multi-stakeholder and worth the work. Our sales development team and inbound put qualified meetings with these groups on your calendar, so your time goes to closing.

The seat

• $2M annual quota, carried on a small number of large accounts.
• Leads fed to you: meetings with multi-location HVAC and home service groups, booked by our sales development team or inbound.
• No management. No team to build, hire or run.
• Strategic accounts: HVAC groups with many locations, where one signed deal covers the whole group and opens the next.

What You Will Own

• The full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, over 3 to 12 months.
• Deals with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders all at the table.
• Expansion: more locations and more services once a group signs.
• Proposals built with our strategists and leadership for the deals that matter most.
