Job description

The Regional Sales Director (RSD) for Furniture at HiTouch is responsible for driving sales and overseeing the performance of the furniture division within a specific region. This role focuses on developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets, managing relationships with key clients, and ensuring operational excellence. The RSD will lead a team of managers and account executives, providing guidance and support to drive success. This position plays a critical role in shaping the company’s growth and market presence in the furniture sector.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Manage and develop the FAE team and work closely with generalist account managers to maximize sales opportunities.
  2. Develop and implement sales strategies for the furniture division to drive revenue growth and market penetration within the assigned region.
  3. Oversee a team of sales managers and account executives, ensuring they have the resources and training needed to achieve their targets.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction with product offerings and identifying opportunities for expansion.
  5. Collaborate with senior management to create and execute regional business plans that align with corporate objectives.
  6. Track and analyze key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  7. Work with internal departments such as marketing, operations, and customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience and alignment with business goals.
  8. Have a continuous in-depth knowledge of project queue, billings, and forecasting models.
  9. Work with manufacturers and installers to minimize costs and maximize profitability.
  10. Drive account retention and new business development initiatives.
Education & Experience
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent work experience. A post-graduate degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred but not required.
  2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a management role, preferably within the furniture or related industries. Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing large sales teams.
Qualifications
  1. Basic Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in managing regional sales teams and driving revenue growth within a complex, multi-product environment. Strong understanding of the furniture industry and its unique sales challenges. Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
  2. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in the furniture or office supply sectors. Proficiency with CRM tools and sales management software. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with high-profile clients and key decision-makers.
