SimonMed Imaging in Scottsdale, AZ, seeks a Regional Sales Director to lead sales, marketing, and product development across multiple markets. The role focuses on driving growth, expanding market presence, and delivering high-quality customer relationships.

You will forecast sales, manage budgets, and partner with key clients to close deals while guiding a team of account managers. Willingness to travel nationwide is required; a bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years in B2B sales are preferred.

Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for planning and implementing sales, marketing, and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
• Develops and manages sales/marketing operating budgets.
• Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
• Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
• Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions, territories; by projecting expected volume for existing and new facilities.
• Maintains sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publication; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies as applicable.
• Reviews and analyzes sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.
• Develops and recommends facility/modality positioning and price strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.

CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPECTATIONS:

Demonstrates competencies in customer service and an understanding SimonMed Imaging code of conduct and culture.

Enlists the support of marketing specialists, implementation resources, service resources, and other sales and management resources as needed.

Closely coordinates company executive involvement with customer management.

JOB RELATED AND PROFESSIONAL GROWTH:

Adheres to policies, procedures, guidelines relative to departmental operations. Participation in specific activities for the promotion of self-growth or the enhancement of a positive image.

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES:

Achieves agreed upon sales quota in regions of oversight.

Responsible for the management of all employees within the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.

Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position requires travel to and from various parts of the country to establish relationships and build partnerships with large medical groups, health systems, and payers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience: May require a bachelor’s degree in a related area and 2-5 years of experience in the field of business-to-business sales environment or related area.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds,sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequent standing and walking.Good visual and auditory acuity as well as good manual dexterity and the ability to be readily understood are essential.Must be able to work in an environment with multiple deadlines and priorities.Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
