Setpoint-Integrated is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead commercial strategy and drive growth across all locations in the defined region. You will partner with the VP of Sales and Region Operations to align sales plans with operational priorities and ensure profitable outcomes.

You will translate strategies into actionable plans, manage CRM-driven activity, monitor margins and forecast growth, and collaborate across branches to maximize customer service and profits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 15+ years of experience in relevant or equivalent position.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales management.
  • Strong strategic and sales planning experience.
  • Experience in employee training, development and performance management.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop sales teams across multiple territories.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Make data-driven decisions to optimize performance and resource allocation.

Responsibilities

  • Sets commercial strategy for each location within the defined region in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Translates sales strategies into detailed plans aligned with product, marketing and channel capabilities.
  • Manages opportunities, order intake, quotation logs, and other sales targets in the CRM (D365).
  • Monitors product margins and quality/safety data to inform pricing and resource allocation.
  • Ensures accountable performance of Account Managers and Regional Sales Managers within the region.
  • Oversees regional MSAs and contract negotiations with targeted accounts.
  • Forecasts order intake and future growth within the defined region.
  • Interacts with cross-functional teams to achieve sales goals and product strategies.
  • Recruits, mentors, and develops sales personnel to build a high-performing team.
  • Reports on business performance to senior management and adapts plans as needed.

Summary

The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for effectively planning, managing and sustaining commercial strategy to secure distribution, assembly and service opportunities for all locations within their defined region. This includes defining the vision, sales direction, and commercial planning for the (inclusive of both New and Service) locations within their defined region. The Regional Sales Director will work in collaboration with the Regional Operations Director to ensure commercial strategy and planning is in alignment with operational priorities and efficiency in an effort to maximize customer service and profits in accordance with company policies, practices, and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • In collaboration with the VP of Sales and their Region Operations Director counterpart, sets commercial strategy for each location within their defined region, including specific individualized planning and KPI for each Account Managers and Regional Sales Manager, which is also in alignment with the overall sales strategy and business goals of the company.
  • Translates sales strategies into detailed plans, aligned with product, marketing and channel capabilities, to achieve the growth objectives for the designated product categories. A full understanding of how to promote both NEW and SERVICE business is required.
  • Utilize available data platforms to manage and monitor business activity including but not limited to:
  • Manage opportunities, order intake, quotation logs, and other sales targets within the CRM (D365)
  • Product Margin Reports
  • Intelex (Quality, Health & Safety)
  • Utilize all data points to assign account management responsibilities using realistic means of coverage, aligned with targeted growth accounts.
  • Responsible for ensuring accountability of Account Managers and Regional Sales Managers within their defined region meet annual sales targets for both new and service.
  • Capable of handling baseline MSA contract negotiations with targeted accounts - including a comprehensive understanding of standard contract terminology.
  • Ensures order intake growth within defined region and accurately forecasts future expectations.
  • Actively engages across their defined region as the sale's functional expert, providing market, operational and customer input and interface as needed.
  • Work interdepartmentally with the entire organization (Branch Management, Operations, Quality, Safety, Management Team, etc) to achieve sales goals and product sales strategies.
  • Monitors customer, market and competitor activity and provides feedback.
  • Responsible for creating a winning team, which includes attracting and hiring talent, assessing current talent, performance management, succession planning and training sales personnel to ensure a high-performance team.
  • Report on all aspects of the business to senior management.
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
Positional Requirements & Qualifications
