Job summary

Cec Facilities Llc is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to lead EHS programs across electrical construction projects nationwide. You will partner with Operations, Project Managers, and field teams to foster a proactive safety culture and reduce workplace risk while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires field leadership, incident investigations, and detailed safety training across data centers and high-voltage projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 500 or OSHA 510, CHST, ASP, CSP, or First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership for multiple electrical construction projects.
• Conduct jobsite inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Coach leaders on hazard recognition and safe work practices.
• Lead investigations of incidents, injuries, and near misses.
• Review safety metrics and develop action plans.
• Support JHAs, Pre-Task Plans, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Ensure OSHA/NFPA 70E compliance and customer requirements.
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and leadership development.
• Manage subcontractor safety performance and prequalification.
• Participate in customer meetings, audits, and OSHA inspections.

Position SummaryThe Regional Safety Manager leads and supports Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs across multiple electrical construction projects within an assigned region. This role partners closely with Operations, Project Managers, Superintendents, and field employees to foster a proactive safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and reduce workplace risk.This is a highly visible, field-based role supporting commercial, industrial, data center, and medium- and high-voltage electrical construction projects across the United States. The Regional Safety Manager builds credibility with operations leadership, proactively identifies and mitigates risk, and helps ensure every employee returns home safely each day.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide safety leadership and oversight for multiple electrical construction projects, including data centers and medium- and high-voltage projects.Conduct regular jobsite inspections, audits, and risk assessments.Build relationships with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field personnel.Coach leaders on hazard recognition and safe work practices.Lead investigations of incidents, injuries, property damage, and near misses.Review safety metrics and develop action plans.Support JHAs, Pre-Task Plans, Energized Electrical Work Permits, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, company policies, and customer requirements.Deliver safety training, orientations, toolbox talks, and leadership development.Manage subcontractor safety performance and prequalification.Participate in customer meetings, audits, and OSHA inspections.Perform other duties as needed to support projects, operations, and the department.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Safety, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.5+ years of construction safety experience.Experience supporting electrical construction, data center construction, and medium- and high-voltage projects.Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.OSHA 500 or OSHA 510, CHST, ASP, CSP, or First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification preferred.Skills & AbilitiesWorking knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and NFPA 70E.Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety management software.Work Environment and Physical DemandsThis role is field-based and requires regular travel to project locations throughout the assigned region. The Regional Safety Manager will be exposed to conditions typical of active electrical construction sites, including work at heights, in confined spaces, and around heavy equipment and energized systems.Must be able to walk and navigate active construction sites in all weather conditions.Must be able to climb ladders and stairs.Must be able to traverse uneven terrain.Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest) at all times.Possess good vision and hearing, normal or corrected.Must be able to work 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week, with overtime as required based on project needs.Requires regular travel to project locations throughout the assigned region, including overnight travel as needed.Must be able to work in the presence of customers and their representatives while maintaining a professional and courteous image.CEC Companies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
