Job summary

ProTrans International is seeking a Safety & Loss Prevention Manager to oversee the Northern Region's safety, security, and compliance programs across warehouses, yards, and transportation operations. You will protect people, cargo, and facilities while driving risk reduction and a proactive safety culture.

The role covers audits, investigations, CAPAs, and working with 3PL partners, carriers, and internal teams to maintain strong safety and security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Criminal Justice, Risk Management, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
• 8+ years in Safety, Loss Prevention, Security, Risk Management, Supply Chain Operations, Warehouse Operations, Transportation, or related logistics environments.
• 5+ years leading teams or programs in multi-site distribution, warehousing, transportation, yard operations, carrier management, or 3PL environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional safety and loss prevention support for warehouse, dock, yard, and transportation operations.
• Coach leaders on safety accountability, cargo security, risk mitigation, and security awareness.
• Partner with Operations, Transportation, Dispatch, HR, Facilities, IT, Legal, customers, carriers, vendors, and 3PL partners.
• Execute safety programs and ensure OSHA, DOT, EPA, AHJ, and customer compliance.
• Lead investigations, CAPA, audits, and risk-reduction initiatives.
• Develop continuity plans and strengthen security across supply chain.
