Job summary

Contracting Specialists South East, LLC in Pompano Beach, FL is seeking a Regional Safety Officer to promote safety culture across the SE region and perform safety audits on restoration construction sites.

You will support project teams with safety planning, track safety training, oversee MEQS and fit testing, and help develop site safety plans. The role may require interstate travel and reports to the local office.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Spanish is required.
• 10 years of general construction experience.
• 5 years construction safety experience.
• Swing stage rigging experience.
• OSHA 510/500 OSHA 30 expected at start.
• EM 385-11 Fall protection certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Procore experience.
• Microsoft Excel experience.

Responsibilities

• Job site safety audits.
• Developing AHAs.
• Equipment inspections.
• Reviewing daily AHAs.
• Reviewing equipment inspection forms.
• Documenting and tracking incidents.
• Providing safety leadership.
