Job summary

CORE Safety Group is seeking a Corporate Safety Manager for the Mid-Atlantic region. You will oversee regional safety programs, develop policies, train teams, and ensure compliance across projects.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or CHST/OHST, 5+ years of construction safety experience, OSHA 500, and strong tech writing and MS Office skills. Up to 25% travel and relocation to the Mid-Atlantic region may be needed.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in safety management, construction management, or related area or CHST/OHST designation.
• Minimum of 5 years construction safety experience.
• OSHA 500 certification.
• Knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards 29 CFR 1926 and General Industry 29 CFR 1910.
• Familiar with construction processes and safety best practices.
• Strong technology skills and MS Office/SharePoint experience.
• Technical writing to develop client policies and procedures.
• Up to 25% travel; willing to relocate to the Mid-Atlantic region.

Responsibilities

• Perform gap analyses of client safety programs and identify needs.
• Develop procedures that help achieve zero accidents for clients.
• Inspect projects to identify and mitigate hazards on construction and general industry sites.
• Create and conduct training programs on safety policies.
• Investigate accidents to determine root causes and prevent recurrences.
• Write project-specific safety plans and job hazard analyses as required.
• Oversee accident reports and investigations for accuracy.
• Promote a culture of ethics, safety, and compliance.
