Job summary

S&S Activewear, a leading North American apparel distributor, seeks a Sr. Safety Manager (East Region) to drive health and safety across 5–10 DCs. You will lead strategic safety programs, analyze data, mentor site teams, and ensure regulatory compliance while traveling frequently.

Role reports to the Sr. Director of Safety and requires strong leadership, risk management, and collaboration skills to reduce SIF/pSIF risks and foster a culture of safety excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a safety or related field is required.
• Minimum 7+ years in EH&S leadership with multi-site exposure.
• CSP certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional safety strategy to reduce serious injuries and fatalities across multiple distribution centers.
• Administer safety programs, identify risks, evaluate controls, and drive corrective actions.
• Partner with regional leaders to embed safety into operations and improve performance.
• Lead complex incident investigations and implement effective corrective actions.
• Analyze safety data, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
• Conduct site visits and travel 25–50% to verify controls and promote improvement.
• Coach safety professionals and leaders to build regional ownership of safety.
