Job summary

Apollo Mechanical Contractors seeks a Safety Professional to coordinate Site Safety Programs across Spokane, WA and the broader PNW. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, local standards and company procedures, and provides training and permit support.

Travel is required; a company vehicle or allowance is provided. The Safety Professional leads investigations, site inspections, risk assessments, and safety coaching to keep everyone Home Healthy – Home Safe.

Qualifications

• A college degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field with minimum safety experience.
• Certification as OHST/CHST/ASP/CSP from recognized boards is preferred.
• Five years of construction safety/health/environmental protection experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in incident investigations and emergency response.
• Conduct site inspections and track corrective actions to closure.
• Perform job safety analysis.
• Maintain jobsite-specific documentation.
• Coach and Teach safety across the region and conduct training.
