Job summary

Aspire Senior Living seeks an experienced Regional Nurse Consultant (RN) to provide clinical leadership, oversight, and support to assigned skilled nursing communities. This role partners with Administrators, DONs, and Operations to strengthen nursing practices, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote consistent standards of care across our communities.

The Regional Nurse Consultant will maintain a regular presence in assigned communities and provide hands-on leadership during clinical,

Qualifications

Missouri RN license required.
BSN preferred.
Minimum 5 years nursing experience in skilled nursing/long-term care.
Previous DON or regional nursing leadership experience preferred.
Multi-facility or regional consulting experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of CMS/state regulations and survey processes.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to Directors of Nursing and facility clinical teams.
Monitor nursing practices, documentation, and resident-care processes.
Identify clinical risks and develop corrective action plans with leadership.
Support communities with complex resident-care concerns and high-risk situations.
Promote survey readiness and regulatory compliance.
Conduct audits, mock surveys, and compliance reviews.
Assist with Plans of Correction and regulatory investigations.
Participate in QAPI initiatives and monitor clinical KPIs.
Coach and develop DONs, ADONs, and other leaders.
Assist with onboarding nursing leaders.
