Job summary

Circle K is seeking an experienced Store Manager to oversee operations, promotions, and staff in Arkansas. You will lead store managers, drive sales, manage costs, and ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.

You will collaborate with marketing, forecast budgets, and guide teams through training and development. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of retail business experience or more preferred; including minimum of 2 years of management responsibility.
• Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word preferred.
• Must have demonstrated leadership ability, good communication skills, be self-directed, self-motivated and customer service oriented.
• Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English.
• Ability to supervise and train Store Managers in use of store equipment, tools and materials.
• A current valid driver's license is required to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide information to store management by recapping promotional activity, reporting opportunities, results, trends and competitive information.
• Manage controllable costs by educating managers on procedures for controlling merchandise variation, salaries, overtime, cash, repair and maintenance costs.
• Collaborate with Marketing to ensure promotions and new product introductions are implemented.
• Provide feedback to category managers regarding stock issues and partner with vendors to ensure product availability.
• Ensure timely execution of monthly promotions and maintain professional vendor interactions.
• Ensure store operations are profitable by managing cash and merchandise variation, salaries, and other controllable expense lines on the P&L.
• Enforce compliance with policies, procedures, and government regulations; monitor restricted sales policies.
• Provide leadership and direction to store managers, including recruitment, selection, and orientation; assist with employee development and training programs; plan, monitor and appraise results.
• Establish job expectations; provide coaching to develop action plans for issue resolution; administer counseling notices and corrective actions.
• Adhere to non-discriminatory management practices in hiring, training, counseling, motivating and separating employees.
• Contribute to team effort by achieving financial and KRAs per company plan guidelines.
