JOB LOCATION
This is a REMOTE position within the Central US/Midwest.

COMPENSATION

  • $115,000 - $170,000/year, Exempt, with a discretionary bonus up to 10%
  • Car allowance

To grow sales in the Central US/Midwest region as the first Regional Retail Account Manager, Produce Sales, at Sensei Ag.

ROLE OVERVIEW
Responsible for establishing Sensei's produce in retail and wholesale channels across the region, managing supply, inventory, forecasting, and developing strategic relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and develop sales with major grocery and big-box retailers.
  • Grow customer base through strategic prospecting.
  • Qualify leads and develop sales strategies for retention and growth.
  • Provide pricing, quotes, and forecast demand.
  • Travel up to 50% for meetings and events.
  • Monitor market trends, competition, and risks.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • At least 5 years in perishable food sales, with retail experience.
  • Proven account growth and retention skills.
  • Located in or willing to relocate to the Central US/Midwest.
  • Strong understanding of US retail grocery market.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Positive, resilient team player.

BONUS POINTS
Experience selling greenhouse produce.

EDUCATION
High School diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred.

TRAVEL
Up to 50% of the time.
