Job summary

Nivram Management, Inc. is seeking an experienced Respiratory Nurse (RN) to support four long-term care facilities across the Chicago area.

This regional role will travel between assigned facilities to provide respiratory therapies, oversee care needs, and collaborate with facility clinical teams to promote quality resident care. The ideal candidate is an Illinois-licensed RN with 1–2 years of skilled nursing/post-acute experience, respiratory care exposure, and proficiency with PointClickCare.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license in good standing.
• 1–2 years in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute setting preferred.
• Respiratory care experience in SNF or post-acute settings strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with PointClickCare (PCC) required.
• Ability to accurately enter and update physician orders and documentation.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapies and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Assess and monitor residents receiving respiratory treatments and identify changes needing follow-up.
• Identify ISP candidates and collaborate with nursing/rehabilitation teams.
• Contact physicians to update orders as necessary.
• Enter orders and clinical information into PCC in real time.
• Develop, update, and maintain resident care plans for respiratory/ISP.
• Monitor participation and progress in respiratory programs.
• Communicate plans and progress to nursing leadership and care teams.
• Collaborate with staff to promote continuity of care.
• Travel between facilities to provide services and support.
• Maintain respiratory-care documentation and practices.
• Keep accurate clinical records per requirements.
• Ensure care aligns with physician orders and regulations.
• Promote resident safety, dignity, and quality of care.
